Okay a few bookkeeping matters to get out of the way. One, a number of readers have remarked to the staff that:
A) I should include the schedules of teams I'm complaining about. Fair enough. I'll start that off in a sec with a retroactive sked for U dubs.
B) I should make it clear that this is all beta testing. Yes, much like the "Universal Re-Monster," Rustbelt-Express is a work in progress.
"The Re-Monster? We're still, uh, beta-testing that.Alright now on to the complaining and (limited) thoughts.
Regarding Wisco, grade wise, ehh, we can call it a "D." Consensus? A lot of very easy (if not worthwhile/fun/impressive) non-conference games to cushion the inevitable beat downs administered by the Big Ten.

Quick comments -
1) San Diego State might make a game of it (didn't the put a scare into the Bucks last year?)
2) I'd bet on UW over Minnesota - they have effectively zero returning running backs with any experience
3)Shouldn't any game with Illinois involved be marked "***" meaning "If we lose this game, we should be automatically demoted to D-IV and made to slit our own wrists"?
tOSU beat SDSU 27-6 last year, in '03 the Aztecs nearly beat the Buckeyes and ended up losing 16-13. '03 was also the year that tOSU still went 11-2 after having a number of close encounters in the non-conf. stretch.
Minnesota has a history of making it tough on UW, are you saying Gary Russell still hasn't gotten his academic shit together? I may have to reconsider, but then again nobody says "Lose winnable games," quite like Wisconsin.
As I vaguely recall from my drunken Nittany Lion memory, i think SDSU kept it close against OSU for the first half before fading (10-6 or something like that). Might be what I'm thinking.
UMinn first string tailback - Who is Amir Pinnix? Anyone, anyone? No Mr. Connery, the answer is not "the rapist."
Further note on Minn. their offense is going to be decent no matter who is in the backfield. The running attack for them starts with the blocking and not with who is running through the holes. Furthermore, their qb Cupito is more than qualified for mocking Wisco's secondary and burning them like it's 1871 and the city is Chicago.
God, I totally hate football.

Sure there is: Michigan.
They'd be a heck of a lot better team if it wasn't for that pesky 4th quarter.
